Penn State Sports Properties (PSSP), a property of Learfield Sports, is the multi-media rights holder for Penn State Athletics. PSSP is responsible for generating advertising sales in the following areas; corporate media, broadcast media, hospitality, promotions, and internet sales.
The Penn State Sports Properties Game Day Property Assistant will be responsible for supporting PSSP in all capacities: game day and event operations, sales and marketing, communication with various departments of Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, office and administration support. Each semester (Fall and Spring) will provide varying levels of experience based on the athletic calendar of events during that particular semester. The position is critical for operational efficiency and will provide excellent, on site marketing and sales training within the sports and entertainment industry.

Game day Property Assistants are essential to PSSP by making sure all game day promotions and LED rotations occur at all sporting events. They will be responsible for collaborating with account representatives at home games, assist them with running promotions and helping set up sponsorship displays. Game day Property Assistants should have a good attention to detail and always maintain a positive attitude while working an event.
Candidates for this position must be undergraduate or graduate students in the process of earning a degree. Penn State Students that are selected to be game day Property Assistants are not required to purchase season tickets for sporting events.
Critical characteristics of Property Assistants include the ability clearly interacting with others through good communication, to work effectively in groups and independently on various tasks, to be organized and reliable in attending all assigned game days.
This position requires Property Assistant's attendance at all assigned athletic events. Fall game day Property Assistants are required to attend all home football games and attend assigned Olympic sport athletic Events.
