Overview

The Director of Digital Operations will be responsible for leading the overall operational execution of the Digital department. Responsibilities include driving the post-sale activation process, discovery and rollout of new digital products, and maintaining overall vendor relationships. The position will require excellent project management skills, digital and social expertise, ability to manage people, and knowledge of sports/sponsorship. This person will be a leader in a growing digital department that has revenue goals and a thriving part of a growing company. The role will report directly to the Vice President - Digital & Social Media and will be based in Plano, TX. No remote roles will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of individuals at Learfield HQ and remote roles with a cohesive strategy of customer service and excellence.
• Develop and drive and overall activation plan for the sale of Digital activations across over 120 Learfield properties.
• Discover products/vendors/partners that lead to direct revenue generation for Learfield properties that are client focused and scalable.
• Lead relationships with Extended Business Lines including but not limited to Sidearm, Paciolan from a digital perspective.
• Work closely with the Director of Digital Sales Strategy and Digital Sales Strategy team to develop digital products to drive revenue in the field.
• Drive a post-sale communication plan internally and externally for maximum efficiency and post-sale success.
• Work closely with internal teams including but not limited to Integrated Marketing, Regional SVP’s, VP’s and GM’s at properties.
• Provide a leading voice in the company around post-sale process and activation.
• Refine the overall process of site launch, site rollout in collaboration with Sidearrm.
• Provide a new perspective on how Digital can run a more profitable and effective operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of experience in Digital/Social Media, Agency, Team and/or leadership roles
• Ability to manage a team of over 10 people and the ability to work with people effectively
• Flexibility to get things done in a variety of ways and tight timelines
• Strong background in Digital and/or Sports/Sponsorship and a curiosity to always want to learn more
• Understanding of social media networks and the ever changing digital world and/or sponsorship/activation.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• A solution minded individual with a positive attitude who has worked in a creative environment
• Track record of success in a variety of roles and responsibilities working with others
• A technical background while having the ability to communicate with individuals who may not have a strong digital background.
• Ability to manage obstacles and overcome problems and objectives
• A positive attitude.
• Ability to travel periodically for events or to properties.
