Our company is in search of a Human Resources Manager to join our corporate HR team. This person will provide human resources service, advice and counsel to employees, managers and fellow HR team members in the areas of payroll, benefits, talent management/evaluation, employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.


Strong character, strong values and a strong work ethic are essential to success in this role. It is critical to have a genuine interest in learning, understanding and empathizing with the needs of the organization’s leadership and staff. A demonstrated ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and deliver exceptional “customer-service” is a must.


This position is based in our Plano, Texas office and reports to the VP of Human Resources located in our Missouri office.


  • Assist in designing, implementing, training and administering our performance management/evaluation process.
  • Advise other HR team members and management staff on compliance matters such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and related areas.
  • Lead and administer our online training system, NAVEX (new online training system) to deliver mandated training to staff.
  • Provide support to HR team members and management regarding benefits, payroll, performance management, and compliance issues as needed.
  • Assist and advise managers on performance improvement issues with staff, employee discipline, employee grievances and employment terminations.
  • Lead, administer, advise and further develop our leave time programs.
  • Identify ways to improve policies, procedures and the overall operation of the HR team and its support of the company.
  • Provide support and leadership to HR team members and management on HR-related merger and acquisition work as needed.


  • 7+ years of professional work experience in the human resources field.
  • Strong, effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word / Excel applications.
  • Ability to lead in an environment of constant change.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master software programs and how they interface.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or a related field
  • A passion and love for serving people.
  • A high degree of integrity and trust in interpersonal interaction.
